Going to a Theatre Near You…

Hope everyone had a great Easter!  So proud of all my kids who volunteered and gave of their time, energy and extra sleeping minutes.  Easter breakfast was a HUGE success, so pat yourselves on the back and know how very proud I am of all of you!

Sunday April 3, 2016, we are going to go see “God’s Not Dead 2″ at the B&B Theater AKA Northland 14.  It is a 1:45 showing, so we will need to meet up at church at 12:30pm, to fill out permission slips, figure out seating arrangements, and we will leave promptly at 12:45pm.  We will return at 4:30pm for parents prompt pick up.  Tickets will be $5pp plus snack money and the YG will cover the rest.

Sunday April 10, 2016, we will be heading downtown, to the Community Theater to see one of our own Sr. High student performs!   Curtains up for a 2pm performance of “Chaos in Camelot”.  We will not be able to make reservations for this performance, so we will have to pray that there are tickets available.  Both weekends, we will be taking the bus.  YES, that means permission slips have to be filled out for each weekend.  I will post extra on the YG Bulletin Board for ease of access.

March Madness!

Okay, listen up.  Coming up, we will be filling Easter Baskets for Woodland Village on March 6th, then on March 13th, the Senior Youth have planned….Nerf War REVENGE, Obstacle Course Included.  Bring your own guns and they MUST shoot normal bullets.  After that, we will be having a GIGANTIC Birthday Party for all of you on March 20th.  Finally the last week of the month, on March 26th and 27th we will be setting up for Easter Breakfast on Saturday from 9-11 and serving breakfast on Easter morning.  More on this to come, remember any donations made from the breakfast will go towards the AWESOME and EXCITING Senior Youth Retreat Tuesday May 31st to Sunday June 5th.

We are heading down south to Table Rock Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the nation.  We have multiple plans on the books and there will be a last meeting to confirm attendance on this Sunday, March 6th, at 3:20.  This is a big undertaking and we want to plan appropriately, so if you are at all interested, make sure you and your parents attend this meeting.  We will have information sheets available and the approximate cost.  IF you have any questions, just email, text or call me.  Can’t wait to see you there!
